Today in class we finished covering section 6.5 of the text book and went over some problems involving synthetic division and finding the zeroes.

Today in class we started covering section 6.5. We then worked on a handout in class.

Homework due Thursday: any 6 problems on the back of the handout.

Today in class we took our chapter 6 quiz.

There is no homework for the weekend. We are moving onto the next section on Tuesday

Today in class we covered section 6.4, which was on factoring polynomials.

Homework: Study for the quiz.

Class Notes 4/8

Today was a work day for the students. They spent the class working on a problem set from the book getting more work on adding, subtracting and multiplying polynomials. They also worked on some word problems dealing with the section.

Homework: Read 6.4 and prepare for quiz for next Thursday (4/14)

Today in class we worked on section 6.3 which covered adding subtracting and multiplying polynomials.

After the lesson the students worked on a packet containing multiple examples dealing with adding, subtracting or multiplying.

Homework: Finish 2nd and 4th page of packet.
